Plantronics told us, “Too many people think that we’re that thing the receptionist wears.” The challenge was to bring Plantronics out of its dusty reputation in business so that the kids would give it a chance. The product gave us a good starting point: the wireless BackBeat GO, which lets you answer calls and listen to music without a plug. Greasy Pipes provided the superlative sound while Jonathan Green and New Monarchy did a sprint of a shoot down the Gold Line into LA. Props to Editor Ryan Steven Green for cutting to the beat of his own drummer.
It became the most watched video in Plantronics history — probably by young receptionists, bored at work.
